Following the 25 year anniversary of the 5x Grammy-nominated superstar Aaliyah’s 1996 studio album, One In A Million, the re-release has hit the top of numerous charts. The album sits at #1 catalog and digital, #2 on the independent charts, and debut at #10 on the Billboard 200.

One In A Million is the first project from the late singer’s catalog to become available across streaming platforms via the new partnership with Blackground Records 2.0 and EMPIRE.

The 2x Platinum album is produced by Timbaland and Missy Elliott and features the classic songs “If Your Girl Only Knew,” “One In A Million,” “Got to Give It Up,” “4 Page Letter,” “Hot Like Fire,” and the gold single “The One I Gave My Heart To.”

In celebration of Aaliyah’s discography hitting streaming, Spotify has updated its “This is Aaliyah” playlist, including some of her top hits and deep cuts to showcase the range of her career.
