Kim Jones and Donatella Versace presented an advertising campaign for the Fendi and Versace collaboration

Fendace is a fantasy creation of Kim Jones, creative director of Fendi Couture and womenswear, and Donatella Versace, fashion designer of the legendary house of Versace. Many already know that two fashion houses presented their collaboration at a secret supermodel show during Milan Fashion Week last September. Now the turn of the advertising campaign has come, and then the start of sales, which will take place tomorrow. Fans are already lining up in a virtual queue to buy clothes and accessories from this collection. Meanwhile, designers emphasize that this is not Fendi x Versace or Versace x Fendi - it's just Fendace. So do not forget about it. Kate Moss, Amber Valletta, Naomi Campbell, Kirsten McNenami, Gigi Hadid, and other supermodels presented this collection on the catwalk. Now in an advertising campaign, their legacy has been taken up by Adut Akech, Amar Akuey, Anja Rubik, Anok Yai, Imaan Hammam, and Lina Zhang. Photographed by Steven Meisel and directed by Alex Maxwell. The message of the campaign is clear – this is a collection for maximalists. "The campaign reflects the same sense of friendship and energy that we had when we designed THE. Kim is a visionary designer and innovator. For me, Fendace will always mean love," says Donatella Versace. The collection reinterprets the classic silhouettes of both houses and gives them a contemporary twist. We see the signature Versace chain mail again and the medusa motif on the Fendi Nano Baguette bag. Also featured are Fendi shoes stitched with Versace safety pins. The collection will be presented in the brand's online stores and pop-up corners around the world. https://ift.tt/TdRpqbm
