TSR notes: 'Over the weekend, rapper #DrakeoTheRuler, unfortunately, passed away after he was stabbed while backstage at the "One Upon A Time In LA" festival. Now his mother says she is planning to sue following his passing.' 'In an interview with @rollingstone, Drakeo's mother, Darrylene Corniel, spoke about his passing and her plans for legal action. She said, "We plan to sue. This happened backstage at an event. Someone has to be held accountable." It was noted that she believes the venue's security failed when it came to their job.' Corniel continued to say, 'I need this to be out there. I need people to know. And I do want justice for my son. As it's been already revealed, Drakeo The Ruler was allegedly stabbed at the #OnceUponATime concert in L.A. at the Banc of California Stadium in Exposition Park. 'Around 8:40pm paramedics arrived to the scene after reports that a person was attacked and stabbed. The person is believed to be #DrakeoTheRuler and he was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
