Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets will be the longest of the trilogy

David Yates' new film will hit theaters on April 8 and will last more than two hours. Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore's Secrets is one of the big premieres of the season, and Morbius, Sonic 2, the movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (only as far as theatrical releases are concerned). Via the British Board of Film Classification ( British Board of Film Classification ), it has been confirmed that the duration of this third part of the Fantastic Beasts trilogy will be the longest of this new batch of works related to the Harry Potter universe. The secrets of Dumbledore will last 142 minutes ( Fantastic Animals and where to find them lasted 133 minutes and The secrets of Grindelwald 134 minutes). That is, we will be sitting in the armchair for two hours and twenty-two minutes, a more or less standard duration in the current blockbusters that want to cover a lot of content and have the viewer wide-eyed for a long time. The fact that there are more series has also helped to increase that average duration because now feature films need a little more time according to the demands of the public. However, it is estimated that this third installment is an absolute box office failure. The main problem has been the controversies surrounding JK Rowling and those transphobic comments that have made many of her followers turn on the author's neck. Even that caused her not to appear in Hogwarts Returns, the reunion of the entire main cast of Harry Potter held to celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Philosopher's Stone. So we will have to wait to see the results at the box office, as always. The next big stop for Harry Potter fans is Hogwarts Legacy; the Avalanche video game is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC later this year, Christmas. That will be a real party because we can become Hogwarts students and live the magical adventures seen on screen and in Rowling's novels. https://ift.tt/gwYzIXM
