Self-obsessed whining wastrels; Piers Morgan on Johnny Depp and Amber Heard

Piers Morgan has launched a scathing attack on ex-couple Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, labelling them "supreme narcissists" locked in a "toddler-tantrum environment". Ahead of the ex-re-appearance couple's in US court, Piers Morgan slammed them as "shamelessly delusional and self-obsessed whining wastrels". The 57-year-old controversial host says that the performers are "stuck" in their "horribly selfish, toddler-tantrum world" in his New York Post column today. Johnny, 58, is suing his ex-girlfriend for libel after a 2018 Washington Post op-ed she published on her "experiences of domestic abuse." After only two years of marriage, Amber divorced John.  A year later the piece titled: "I spoke up against domestic assault — and faced our culture’s wrath", was released. Johnny sued for defamation in 2019, seeking "not less than $50 million" in damages, claiming the op-ed harmed his career. Amber counterclaimed against him for libel in August 2020, accusing him of waging a "smear campaign against her" and seeking "not more than $100 million" in damages. Piers said in his column that "so many things to be truly concerned about in our volatile world", including the Ukraine crisis and inflation. The Virginia case followed the greatest English libel trial of the century in 2020, when Johnny lost his lawsuit against News Group Newspaper for calling him a "wife abuser." It was revealed at the 2020 hearing that a poo was placed in the marital bed, that the former couple's leased property in Australia was destroyed, and that Johnny's finger was cut. It's a matter of "a gazelle avoiding a lion pride" according to the former Good Morning Britain host. "Compared to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Depp and Heard are ad for loving harmony. One thing is certain: they're both ultimate narcissists. Literally." He accused them of "both playing the victim while millions of actual victims suffer from war, a deadly illness, and debilitating cost of living increases."
