Bill Skarsgard to Star in Rupert Sanders-Directed ‘The Crow’ Reboot

After many years of false beginnings and many hell developments, the Crow appears prepared to soar again. Bill Skarsgard, who recreated Penny Wise the Clown in the horror films, will be working on a reboot of the Rupert Sanders-directed supernatural revenge thriller Ghost in the Shell and Snow White and Huntsman.  Longtime Raven the Malcolm Gray and Butler Edward R. Pressman, co-producer of Chadwick Boseman's 2019 thriller 21 Bridges, are making. Crow was an independent comic book authored and marked by James O'Barr. In the late 1980's he told the dark story of a man and his fiancée who were robbed and killed by a gang after the couple's car failed. A well- resuscitate a man and take revenge on those who carried his life and his sweetheart. The man involved in the revenge mission will be Eric Draven (Skarsgard). Zach Baylin, who is coming up with an Oscar nomination to write King Richard, penned the screenplay. The project is in pre-production before the start of June, with filming in Prague and Munich. The budget is in the range of $ 50 million, and it looks like the movie is really about to start. However, fans of The crow have every reason to doubt that the recurrence will not derail at the last minute, given the franchise's notorious history. The first film, released in 1994, was a critical and box office success and gained an enthusiastic audience after the on-set death of star Brandon Lee. A sequel, entitled The crow: City of angels, starring Vicente Pérez. It was released in 1996, pursued by two more movies, starring Eric Mabius and Edward Furlong, The Raven: Salvation (2000) and The Raven: Evil Prayer (2005).   F. Javier Gutiérrez ( Before the Fall ) and actor Luke Evans performed in another. Director Stephen Norrington ( Sword ) was involved in one reboot, and Corin Hardy ( The Nun ) took on the task of a reboot in 2017 and secured the star Jason Momoa.  Still, the two men vacated in 2018 after a financial dispute between producers and distributors, once cutting off the wings of the project. Skarsgard, which has contributed more than 1 1.1 billion to It Scare movies at the worldwide box office, will be seen in the approaching John Wick: Chapter 4 and is currently shooting Boy Kills World's action-packed film. Ironically, he voiced a character named Kro in the 2021 Marvel film Eternal. Sanders made a name for himself as a visual magic commercial director before making his film debut in 2012's Snow White and the Huntsman, a big-budget fiction featuring Charlize Theron, Kirsten Stewart, and Chris Hemsworth.    https://ift.tt/gwYzIXM
